How Does Santa Enter a Home with No Chimney?

“Our new home has no chimney. Will Santa come to see us this year?”

This was not a question of curiosity. It was a question of worry . . . with a strong splash of fear.

When a guy (me) spends 18 years photographing kids with Santa, he hears hundreds of questions. Most often they involve the reindeer, Mrs. Claus, and the reality of the beard. [Yes, the beard is real, proven by oodles of tugs.]

So it always piques my interest when I hear a new question. The chimney question REALLY grabbed my ear because I thought to myself, “YEAH! How DOES he get into a home with no chimney?”

The question came to me two years ago via our new young neighbors, and I promised to ask Mr. Claus himself. So if you or a friend wonders the same, Santa takes 90 seconds to explain in the video below. Click the photo.

And if you have other questions for Santa Claus, why not ask him yourself?

If you’re near the Little Rock, Arkansas, area November 8-10, 2019, we’re scheduling photo sessions with him. Our friends who visit Santa spend 10-40 minutes with him . . . plenty of time to tell jokes, ask questions, relay Christmas lists, and hear him read The Night Before Christmas.

For the first time ever, this year we’ll be decorating cookies with Santa!
